This silver tone brooch is in the shape of a graceful bow with a rose in the center. It is very nice with a mirror finish and it is in remarkable shape for its age. I don't see a scratch on it. Marked Coro on the pin back in the oldest Coro style. Marked Coro (in a box) with the flying Pegasus to the left, on the back of the pin. Research shows this signature was used in 1940's only. Wonderful rare black coral branch pin with 14Kt gold leaves and berries. The coral is an extra long wishbone piece and has been beautifully polished. Black coral is now endangered and getting extinct, this branch is all natural and is very uniform in color. It has a gold pin back that works well. Attention cat lovers! This adorable set is for you. These kitties are made of sterling silver, and there is a brooch and set of pierced earrings. The cats have long eye lashes and long and fluffy tails. They are in excellent condition and have a mirror finish. It is signed 925 Mexico - See the back. See another view.

This is an authentic Takahashi wooden bird pin. These little jewels were hand carved with exacting details, and then expertly painting to match the colors of the real birds. Up to ten layers of lacquer were applied to give the birds shine and to protect their paint. That is why this bird's finish is so smooth and still looks perfect after many years. This bird is a male Scarlet Tanger and is a vibrant red with black and teal feathers. His feet are wired on a real twig and the pin back is attached with push pins. These are all indicators of an authentic and collectible Takahashi bird. This exact bird pin is featured prominently in Julia C. Carroll's book Collecting Costume Jewelry 303 on page 112 and on the back cover. - Unsigned, View A , B - See the back.

I love the teal color in this beautiful brooch. It is in a free form shape that reminds me of a sea anemone. It has a beautiful combination of teal enamel over a polished gold finish. This brooch is in excellent condition. It is signed Monet on the back - see the back. Circa 1950

This is a bright and colorful enamel brooch by designer Laurel Burch. Laurel Burch became famous for her whimsical creatures and designs during the 70's until she passed away in 2007. One of her specialties was cats. This design was created in 1983 and is called "Gato". It has been retired and is a sought after collectible piece. Made from shades of purple, red, orange, and teal enamel, he measures 2 1/4 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches tall. The cat's face and body are outlined in 22kt gold plate. The back of the brooch has the signature "Laurel Burch" and "Gato." It's in excellent condition. See another view. See the back.

Exquisite Swoboda floral brooch constructed of carved jade leaves with a white coral flower in the center. The nephrite jade is a lovely dark green color and it is in a gold filled setting.
